MEET THE TEAM

Founder & CEO
WHITNEY SHORTS
I am a devoted wife and mom of three wonderful children. With over a decade of experience in child care and early childhood education, I have spent the last 7+ years homeschooling my own children, striving to provide them with a rich, holistic education.
My journey in child care began in various child care centers, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of early childhood development. I get to enjoy planning and organizing numerous gatherings, events, trips, and special moments, creating opportunities for families to connect and enjoy quality time together.
Beyond my professional experience, I am passionate about the simple joys of life. I find immense beauty in sunsets, have a keen interest in baby animals, and love flowers. Movies provide a great source of entertainment and relaxation for our family too, but my greatest joy comes from volunteering my time to help others learn about the Bible.
I am excited to be part of your child's growth and development!

Executive Assistant
SHEENA FRAZIER
With a diverse background in education, child care, and digital design, I’m passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering creativity. My experience spans roles as a reading tutor, summer camp counselor, mentor, and arts and crafts instructor, which have equipped me with the skills to inspire and guide children on their educational journeys.
Above all, I’m a devoted wife and mother to a wonderfully bright daughter, who is homeschooled and absolutely loves it. The flexibility and personalized approach to her education have been amazing, and she’s especially enjoyed being part of The High Altitude Club, which has been a wonderful complement to her learning.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, volunteering, reading, gardening, crafting, and enjoying music and games with friends and loved ones. These passions fuel my creativity and help me connect with children in meaningful ways, encouraging them to explore, learn, and grow.

Coordinator of Student & Family Services
TIFFANY GONZALEZ
I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. I find joy in being part of children's growth, development, and enrichment. I am a wife and mother of two energetic young girls, who we plan on homeschooling when they begin school. I was homeschooled myself so I hold a special place in my heart for programs such as the HAC. I also enjoy music and reading—interests I love to share with my children and the children I get the privilege to work with.

DONJA ROBINSON
Hi, I'm Donja Robinson! I love traveling and exploring new places and spending time outdoors with my husband. I'm also a huge animal lover and enjoy being around all kinds of creatures. When I'm not traveling or enjoying nature, I spend my spare time building, remodeling, and furnishing miniature dollhouses—it's one of my favorite creative hobbies. I'm excited to be part of this homeschool enrichment program and look forward to connecting with the kids and their families.

Reading Tutor
GABBI MIEROP
Hello there, new friends! My name is Gabbi, and my husband, Keith, and I, along with our two boys, recently moved to Jacksonville from Panama City. We’re a water-loving family, so the beach is definitely our happy place. I’m also a huge animal lover, so we have four pets keeping us company! I’ve homeschooled both of my kids for the past 8 years. I always want the best for them, just as I know each of you does for your little ones.
In addition to teaching my own kids, I hold a TEFL certification and absolutely loved my time tutoring young learners in English. I’m excited to be here and can’t wait to guide your little ones as they embark on their journey to learn to read!

Foreign Language Instructor
KEITH MIEROP
Hello, friends! My name is Keith, and my wife, Gabbi, and I recently moved to Jacksonville from the sugar-sand beaches of Panama City, FL, with our two beautiful boys. We moved to be closer to our family, but we're also excited that living in a big city offers more opportunities to expand our volunteer service and make new friends. Our kids have always been homeschooled, but we're thrilled that here, they have programs like The High Altitude Club to help them learn, socialize, and play in a safe environment.
I spent my childhood in Southern California, but it’s my travels and experiences since then that have truly shaped who I am. I’ve lived all over the U.S. and traveled to Kenya and Taiwan. My love of languages led me to start learning Chinese over 20 years ago!
Over the years, I’ve tutored children both in classroom settings and on a one-on-one basis. I’m always excited to teach what I love! Teaching language and culture helps expand young minds and broadens their horizons, allowing them to appreciate and celebrate the differences that make us unique.
